GYMWATCH and GYM AESTHETICS Partner to Offer Hot Fashions and a High-performance Fitness Tracker for Bodybuilders and Gym Fanatics

The GYMWATCH Sensor fitness tracker and GYM AESTHETICS fitness fashions to exhibit at CES 2016

Darmstadt/Stuttgart, December 28, 2015: German start-ups GYMWATCH and GYM AESTHETICS have entered a partnership to co-market and sell their fitness fashion, fitness trackers, fitness apps and online training programs together. The companies will be exhibiting at CES 2016 in the Sports Tech Marketplace in the Sands, Halls A-C, Booth 73264.

Fitness-fashion label GYM AESTHETICS has been shaking up the fitness-clothing category since 2013 with its trend-setting designer clothing for bodybuilders and gym fanatics. Last spring at the Fibo Global Fitness event in Cologne, Germany, crowds swarmed the GYM AESTHETICS booth to purchase the fitness fashions and take selfies with the GYM AESTHETICS athletes.

GYMWATCH gained attention in 2014 when it debuted its first product, the GYMWATCH Sensor, which is the first and only fitness tracker that precisely measures the full range of motion and strength expended in every type of exercise—more than 900 of them—and provides real-time feedback to help users properly perform the exercises. All data is sent in real time via Bluetooth to a companion app that delivers a personal trainer experience.

“A lot of big fitness brands like Under Armour and Nike have developed or snapped up fitness apps in order to offer digital sports products in their portfolio. Partnering with GYMWATCH enables our two companies to more effectively compete with these brands,” said Aleksandar Duric, co-founder and managing director of GYM AESTHETICS.

GYMWATCH GmbH develops advanced fitness technologies and devices. Based in Darmstadt, Germany, near Frankfurt, the company’s first product is the patented GYMWATCH Sensor, which is the first and only wearable fitness tracker to precisely measure both the motion and the strength expended in every exercise, and with its companion app provide real-time feedback to help users perform exercises properly and get maximum results from their workouts. GYM AESTHETICS designs and manufactures fitness fashions. Its first collection was inspired by 1970s Californian Gym fashion featuring the wide stringer and short, form fitting shorts that Arnold Schwarzenegger used to wear. Founded in June 2013 by ex-Bosch engineers Aleksandar Duric and Philipp Deslandes, GYM AESTHETICS has already formed an enormous community focused on fitness, the sport of bodybuilding and fashion.
